After the hopper containing the raw materials to be mixed is pushed into the working position, a lifting system engages and securely locks it to the mixing lid. The hopper and mixing lid then tilt together, simultaneously crushing and stirring the material during the tilting process. Once the mixing operation is complete, the hopper automatically returns to its original position. The entire operating cycle is fully automated and controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC).
